The Celiac test result is negative if a red control line appears in the control field (labeled C) and NO red line forms in the test field (labeled T).
The negative result indicates that there are no Celiac disease associated IgA antibodies in the tested blood. Existing Celiac disease can virtually be ruled out. If gastrointestinal complaints are present, further medical investigation is necessary.
NOTE: If NO control line (labeled C) is formed, the Celiac home test has not been carried out correctly. In such a case, repeat the test with a new Celiac test kit test unit.
If celiac disease is diagnosed early and treated with a gluten-free diet, the damaged tissues can heal and the risk of developing many of the long term complications of this disease, including osteoporosis, some intestinal cancers and infertility can be reduced.
